• Missouri: • 13th highest adult obesity rate at 30%+

• 31% of adults in Jackson County are obese+

• 37,000 low-income persons living more than a mile from a grocery store^

• 18% or 126,620 persons in Jackson County, Missouri are on food stamps.*

• Kansas: • 18th highest adult obesity rate at 29.4%+

• 35.4% of adults in Wyandotte County are obese+

• 13,000 low income persons living more than a mile from a grocery store^

• 16% or 24,932 persons in Wyandotte County, Kansas are on food stamps.*
