We have some exciting

things going on in this

Issue. For starters we have

a beautiful young lady,

Imani, as out first Kitten

On The Walk.

We introduce plenty of

new Models. We also bring to you Katwalk

Dining. We created this for those who love to eat,

and want to try new things on a budget. We have

some great new businesses advertising with us.

Later this year we are taking the 1st Annual

Katwalk Kruise. This year we are going to the

Western Caribbean to Grand Cayman Island and

Cozumel, Mexico. Also this Spring I release, The

Katagious Life, My Inspirational Life Journey.

We also opened our headquarters located right

outside of Atlanta in Jonesboro.

Time to take this movement to new heights.

Crystal Chiles Crystal started in the Industry as a child. She modeled for

local shows and at school. She fell in love with the spotlight.

She graduated from Barbizon Modeling School in Illinois

and has been loving Modeling ever since. She has been

dancing all of her life to basically any song but from what

from she can remember the first music she ever heard was

Chicago's Juke House Music. When booking Crystal for a

job you get overwhelmed with her personality and how the

camera and her become one. Crystal defines success as

“Figuring out what you want out of life, doing things that can

make you work towards your goal and no matter what

sticking to it through the negative and positive. You only get

one life so why not work hard to get what you want. Nobody

else can do it for you. My saying is I rather live for

something, than die for nothing.”

When asked what the future holds Crystal says, “I plan to walk on the runway

of Victoria;s Secret and be on the Cover of Seventeen Magazine. Also in the

future I plan to organize a fashion show to raise money for Breast Cancer

Civtims; I believe it is up to us to women to stick together and be there for one

another.” Crystal views the status of the Modeling & Entertainment Industries

as very entertaining and fashionable. She loves the fact that its not all about

being thin...She is glad to see plus size models getting their shine on. “God

made us unique in our own way so who are we to judge if someone is fit or

not.” The artists she likes to listen to are

Trey Songz, Keri Hilson, Rihanna, Drake,

and her favorite Beyoncé, R. Kelly, Kanye,

Rick Ross, Boosie and Julius “JL” Lett.

Her style is classy, sophisticated, and she

has expensive taste. She likes the best.

You will never catch Crystal with to much

makeup on. She feels natural beauty is

best. The one thing she must have in

Her purse or wallet is lip gloss-gotta keep

her lips glossy! The most adventurous

thing Crystal has ever done is Bungy Jump.

Her favorite designer is GUCCI.

She says her First Love is “My Daddy.”

Her first passion was dancing. Her first

big purchase was her car. Crystal’s first

mentor was her Mom.

Crystal’s last words are

“LIVE, LAUGH, LOVE!”

IMANI MARTIN Gracing the Cover and centerfold is the

very First Kitten On The Walk, Imani

Martin. This beautiful, hardworking nine

year old Model comes to us from North

Carolina. Imani makes Katwalk Planet

history not just as the first Model under

18, but she is the first Model to grace the

cover of our 2011 Publications.

One day Imani just knew she wanted to Model. Imani

considers herself to be a High Fashion Model. If Imani had to

choose between playing sports, hanging out with her friends

or modeling she says with no question, Modeling. The

things Imani has in her Model Bag are: water, pictures, heels,

make-up, lip gloss, one piece bathing suit, notepad, comb,

lotion, mints and a pen to write with. Imani sees herself in

New York and Paris Modeling within the next five years.

When asking Imani’s Mother, Yolanda, about

her take on Imani Modeling she says she has

people around telling her to dream big for

Imani and to work hard. When it comes to

Photographer’s Yolanda researches them by

looking at their work and talking to people

about them. Yolanda also says the family

would move to another location to support

Imani’s Modeling Career.

exciting experience in the

Modeling Industry is this

one, being the first child

model in Katwalk Planet.

She also says that if she

could give some advice to

Models that are around her

age the advice would be

“It’s a lot of hard work and

if you want it you have to

work for it.”

The advice Yolanda has for new

Photographer’s starting in the Modeling

Industry on dealing with child Models is

to be patient because at times they do

get nervous.

Some important things Yolanda feels

new Model Moms must know are:

Believe in your child, Do not push to

hard, Research all Photographers,

Speak-up, Remind your child that you

have their back.

Split the pork chops and season them with garlic salt & pepper to taste.

Preheat oven at 350°

Slice green onion, baby carrots & white onions

Open can of vegetables and bring to slow boil

Make stuffing according to box directions

Place the stuffing inside the split pork chops

Place the stuffed pork chops in the oven and cook 20-30 min depending on how

well done you would like them

Use white onions, 1 tablespoon Butter, 1 teaspoon all-purpose flour and small

skillet to make a onion gravy. (gravy is optional)

PLATING THE MEAL

Place mixed vegetables on plate

Place pork chops on top of the mixed vegetables

Place small amount of stuffing on plate and surround with baby carrots

Drizzle everything with gravy and green onions
