Where does the kakapo live?

On your right there is Stewart island and on your left there is Codfish island they are the two places in the world where the kakapo live they are native to NZ.

Habitat

The kakapo lives in a tree hole witch they call home....

but we call it there habitat

FACTSThe kakapo lives to a mighty age for a bird, getting to over 60 years old.

Kakapo feathers are very soft and moss-green in colour, with some black on its back and yellow-green feathers on its belly.

The kakapo is a good colour for hiding, but enemies can often find them because of the kakapo’s strong smell

also the kakapo is the heaviest parrot in the world
