近些年来,中国对外承包工程合同额和营业额每年迭创新高,2010 年更突破了 900 亿美元大关,中国工程公司在这

一领域取得了举世瞩目的伟大成就。伴随着这一成就,我企业也面临着前所未有的困难和挑战,接连出现在中东和欧洲单

个项目上 10 亿元的亏损就是一个实实在在的例子。

实践表明,这些挑战不是来自于工程技术领域,而是由于中国工程公司对现代管理体系和管理模式的适应能力的不足。

近二十年来,中国已经建设了三峡大坝、青藏铁路、润扬大桥这样一些举世瞩目的标志性工程,这意味着我们已经基本突

Recently, the amount and turnover of China's international projects contracts have reached new highs year upon year. Turnover peaked at more than 90 billion USD in 2010. Chinese engineering companies have made remarkable achievements in this field and have attracted attention worldwide. Notwithstanding these achievements, Chinese engineering companies are also facing unprecedented difficulties and challenges. A series of projects each with 1 billion yuan deficits in the Middle East and Europe are real examples. Practice shows that these challenges are not from the field of engineering, but from the Chinese engineering companies’ insufficient adaptation to modern management systems and models. In the past two decades, China has built a number of remarkable landmark projects such as the Three Gorges Dam, Qinghai-Tibet Railway and Runyang Bridge, which means we have practically broken through the limits of technical engineering. At the same time, project management still has a long way to go, especially adaptation to the western management model. Overall, Chinese engineering companies have remained underdeveloped in the international market. The development model is still very simple. Keeping costs low is still the main method of competition. To achieve the transfer from the saturated low-end market to the promising high-end projects field, we must adapt to and work with the western style thinking process, management model and work habits. Kaibo Group's core business is international project management (EPCM, PMC). Our company focuses on large-scale overseas construction project management facets, including integration, standardization, professionalism, processes, and other features. We explore a series of management systems and management methods in order to fully utilize overseas and domestic resources to successfully adapt Chinese enterprises to international construction standards. Kaibo Engineering Group has been engaged in the management of large construction projects for a long time. It has accumulated extensive international project management experience in China, the US, Australia, and Africa, among other nations. Kaibo Group specializes in resolving difficult issues from various project management aspects, including project control, risk control, design management, procurement of materials, communication, document control, and labor control. Our project management expertise covers a range of advanced concepts including management structure, operational procedures, and strategy development and implementation. In 2010, Kaibo Group undertook engineering project management and consulting work on projects in Australia, Africa, Europe and Asia at a total value of over 4 billion USD, receiving a high

Project Investment and FinancingWe provide consulting services for large-scale project financing. We also provide feasibility studies for investment in overseas construction projects and provide optimal investment portfolio and help develop investment contracts and documents.

Project Diagnosis and EvaluationWe provide diagnostic consulting services when projects encounter unforeseen risk, and then identify both problems and effective solutions. An Iron Ore Mining Infrastructure Project in AustraliaOverall Project Cost: 3 billion USD

Kaibo Group was involved in the contract negotiations and prophase management consult ing of this EPC project. In this project, Kaibo cooperated with world-famous EPCM companies such as Worley Parsons, Calibre, etc. Among others, this project included mining, railway, port, power station construction and equipment installation.

A Design and Construction Project in LibyaOverall Project Cost: 824 million USD

Kaibo Group provided a full range of project management services and enabled a number of management systems and innovatory procedures, winning both the respect of the owner’s engineer and trust of the contractor. The owner’s management company was AECOM from the US, and the engineer was Chemonics from Egypt.

Kaibo Group provides project management services for the whole project process including tendering, contract negotiation, assisting contractors in making key decisions and maintaining effective communication with the owner. Kaibo Group is fully responsible for engineering, procurement and construction management. The owner’s engineer is the German-based engineering firm Lahmeyer which entirely uses western standards.

A Copper and Gold Ore Exploration Project in India Kaibo Group researched and evaluated the overall situation of the company the contractor intended to cooperate with, as well as the tendering notices. Kaibo Group also compiled a feasibility report.

8th July 2010 - By invitation of China International Contractors Association, Kaibo Engineering Group CEO Mr. Kaibo Sun held a lecture entitled "Overseas EPC Project Management”.

2010 年 10 月 19 日,我集团工程管理部总监朱晓彤先生,为“非洲国家工程承包研修班”授课,该班是由商务部主办、商务部国际商务官员研修学院与中国对外承包工程商会合作承办,有来自坦桑尼亚、塞舌尔、塞内加尔、赞比亚、贝宁、加纳、塞拉利昂、科摩罗、厄立特里亚、马里等 10 个国家的 22 名官员参加。

19th October 2010 - Director of Kaibo Group Engineering Department, Mr. Tom Zhu, was invited to give a lecture at the “Project Contracting in Africa Seminar”. The seminar was sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce and co-hosted by International Business Officials School of Ministry of Commerce of China and China International Contractors Association. Participants included 22 officials from 10 countries: Tanzania, Seychelles, Senegal, Zambia, Benin, Ghana, Sierra Leone, Comoros, Eritrea, and Mali.

Corporate Social Responsibility

作为新型海外工程项目咨询和管理公司,楷博团队将企业经营与社会责任有机结合,

我们不仅在日常经营活动中遵纪守法、恪守诚信,注重员工的健康与安全,亦注重为社

会可持续发展贡献力量。我们致力于中国工程企业的海外开拓,努力促进提高项目所在

地就业水平,兴建公益项目,培养当地人才和保护生态环境。

2009 年,楷博团队启动了企业社会责任计划(CRS)。

2010 年,楷博团队先后组织了向中国红十字会、希望工程、舟曲灾区等的多项捐

款活动,款项均已悉数到位。在履行社会责任的过程中,楷博工程与 10 名贫困小学生

建立了长期救助联系,并陆续收到多封感谢信。

2011 年,楷博团队倡议并发起了“百名青少年援助行动”,每年资助中外各 50 名,

共 100 名青少年学生,帮助他们减轻为完成学业所承担的经济负担,为他们提供力所能

及的支援。

楷博工程集团以创新促发展,以诚信担责任,紧扣国家和社会的发展主题,体现企

业的社会价值,追求企业、社会和环境的和谐发展。

Combining social responsibility and company operation, Kaibo Group not only observes the laws and practices integrity, but also strives to protect our employees’ health and security, and ensures constant development of society. While working jointly with Chinese construction contractors to deliver project overseas, Kaibo Group contributes by increasing the local employment rate, building public works, training local talent, and protecting the ecological health of project sites. By doing this, we benefit the clients themselves, and also provide support and assistance to society as a whole, thus creating a great reputation for Chinese companies abroad. In 2009, Kaibo Group initiated a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) project. In 2010, Kaibo Group donated to the Red Cross Society of China, the Hope Project, and the disaster-hit Zhouqu region of Western China. All payments have been made. In order to fulfill our commitment to social responsibility, Kaibo Group has established a long-term relationship with 10 disadvantaged school children in order to offer them help. We received thank you letters from the pupils we help. In 2011, Kaibo Engineering Group began an initiative of sponsoring 100 students in China and abroad each year, helping them to complete their education and fulfilling other needs. Kaibo Group promotes development by innovating and assuming responsibility in good faith. We always stick to the national and social development themes, reflecting the company’s social values, pursuing a harmonious development among business, society and environment.
