Kahoot! Interactive Trivia

What is Kahoot! ?Kahoot! Is a website that enables people to

create their own selected-response quizzes which students can take using their own mobile devices.

The questions can be displayed on screen in the classroom and on the students’ mobile devices

Students can work in pairs or teams if some lack mobile devices

This presentation will demonstrate how Kahoot! Works using the quiz I created for this unit.

The interactive whiteboard will display the quiz.

When the pin appears on the interactive whiteboard, students will get a prompt to enter it on their phones

After students enter the pin that is displayed on the screen, they’ll be prompted to enter a nickname

Select a team name, then “Join Game”

The number of players and the team nicknames will appear on the classroom screen.

Question 1 will appear on the screen and students will have up to four choices on their phone. They have 30 seconds to answer.

If the team gets the question correct, they’ll see the following on their mobile device:

For Question #2, we will see what happens if a team enters the wrong answer.

This shows what the classroom screen and the student’s mobile device look like when an incorrect answer is given.
