Union

Crown Chakra, Keter, the Crown

No Separation

• We think as God• We act as God• We are as God

As God is Love, then we are love — but pure, spiritual love, not familial love. Unconditional love.

Jesus and Peter. John 21: 15-17.

So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs.

He saith to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep.

He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep.

To love at this level is hard.

• It means no judgement.• No resisting.• Allowing.• Responding.• Being holy.

The Kingdom of God

• Jesus speaks 52 times of the Kingdom of God across all the Gospels.

• The Kingdom of Heaven is mentioned only in the Gospel of Matthew.

Enlightenment

Before enlightenment, chop wood, carry water.

After enlightenment, chop wood, carry water.

This is a state of consciousness. It is not connected with the physical world but it can influence the physical.

The God of this level

• I AM.• The God of Being.• The God who is known when all else is

forgotten.• The deepest meaning of ‘let go and let God.’

There is nothing but this God.

Hindu tradition defines this God by negation

• Unborn• Undying• Unchanging• Unmoving• Unmanifest• Immeasurable• Invisible• Intangible

This is the No-Thing of the void

In Kabbalah, known as Ayin.Meaning: no-thingness (from the Hebrew Ain –

“not”. Before the Universe existed there was only this no-thingness. The first manifest sefirah, Keter, is an extension of this nothingness — the first place from where the No-Thing can be perceived.

• Scientifically, this is the origin of the Big Bang.

Ayin (no-thing)

Ayin Sof (unending).

Ayin Sof Aur (Infinite light).

Even at Keter, we are still not able to fully understand this Divine process and the key is not to try and do so. This is the origin of the Great Mystery.

There is no longer an observer

Nor an observed.

God is no longer created in our image — or in any image. There is only absolute reality and absolute non-reality in one. No identity.

Most of us can only reach this for seconds at a time.

If asked who we are at this level, the only possible answer is “I AM.”

This is the Kingdom of God

This is the level from which Jesus Christ speaks with the great “I AM” statements in the Gospel of John. He is no longer speaking from his persona of Jesus, but transmitting the Cosmic Christ. And his great (and forgotten) message is that we too can — and must — do the same.”

John 10:33-7

The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.

Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods? (psalm 82:6/Isaiah 41:83)

If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;

Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?

If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not.

I was once called to account for quoting this...

Genesis 3:5 “For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.”

...but a primary Kabbalistic teaching is that all humanity will, one day, achieve Christ status, no matter how long it takes.

We are gods. Just very unaware gods. And it’s NOT about knowing good from evil. At his level, there is neither. There is just unity.

Sacrament — Extreme Unction

Also known as Last Rights.

This is the level where we finally die to all that is familiar. We will do that when we physically die but the enlightened ones do it while still alive.

Here we meet death face to face.

If there is dis-ease...

...Either your body or the dis-ease must die.

In most cases, the body throws off the dis-ease. But in serious cases then the body often has to surrender life to let go of the inherent cause.

Whatever the cause may be...

• Many say dis-ease is genetic.• Many say it is caused by negative thinking.• Many say it is random.

Whatever the cause, it has an effect. Change the cause, though diet, thought-forms or attitude and you can dissolve the dis-ease.

But if it is your time...

Then death will come for you to take you home to a place where none of the everyday concerns of life still matter.

“In the next world, who is important? Who is honorable? Who is complete?” Rabbi Nachmanides.

What happens to souls after death?

One thing is for sure...

To reach ‘heaven’ we must let go of all our beliefs and prejudices because those are what prevent us from getting there while on Earth.

Dis-ease is just that...

How do we heal if we don’t know the cause? As long as we have a life to live, our body works towards health as much as it can.

But we can begin to address dis-ease at any level – physical, psychological, spiritual or divine. With no resistance, each level will work through to the other worlds.

The ultimate healing is in the crucifixion story

• Told at four levels within the Gospels.

• Hard work at physical and psychological levels.

• Simple and clear from spirit and divine levels.

At the level of Keter...

• We are free of all consideration of ‘good’ or ‘evil.’

• We let go of all hurts or angers• We become, again, the creators of our own life

instead of allowing others to dictate it for us.• We become love. For ourselves and others.• We start again.• We seek only beauty or love. We forget to die.

Kabbalah and Healing

• Healing is always possible.• Dis-ease is always either congestion or over-flow.• Letting go of our opinions of good and evil is

required to allow healing in. Some death must happen.

• Christ consciousness sees perfection in all things.• Whatever the problem, there is a solution. Find

the adventure in the process.

The answer is love

No matter what the question, the answer is love. Love for Self, love for our flaws, love for God, love for others, love of life.

Jesus came to demonstrate that love. He was non-punative, non-exclusive and non-triumphalist. Those are our lessons too.
