Pin the stem to the bottom of the tree and sew it on. Stuff it before sewing it on completely.

STAR With Rainbow Cotton 8/4 in Yellow and Metallic Thread in Silver Start with a magic ring Rnd 1: 5 sc in the ring (5) Rnd 2: [1 inc] x5 (10) Rnd 3: *(1 sc, 1 dc, 1 sc) in the same st, 1 sl st* Repeat 5 times total.

Cut yarn but leave a long tail for sewing.

Pin the star to the top of the Christmas tree and sew it on.

Cut a piece of Lamé Madeira in Silver and sew it to the top if you want to be able to hang it as an ornament.
