Justice For AllOur goal is to improve the personal security and
access to justice for all Nigerians.
The Justice for All Programme supports Nigerian-led reform of
the justice sector. We work alongside counterparts from the entire
justice community: the courts, the police, anti-corruption agencies
and civil society, to help develop the capacity and responsiveness
of the sector in delivering Justice For All Nigerians.
We aim to support better service delivery at the federal, state
and local levels.
The programme is funded by the United Kingdom’s Department for
International Development and managed by the British Council.
Cross Sector Co-ordinationEnhance co-ordination, linkages and
oversightWe aim to strengthen relationships and co-ordination
between institutions from across the justice sector, including
formal, informal and civil society organisations.
JusticeImprove access to justice and equitable resultsWe develop
the capacity of formal and informal justice institutions to ensure
that Nigerians are able to access justice and protect their
rights.
Anti-corruptionStrengthen the eff ectiveness of selected
agenciesWe aim to build the capacity of Nigerian anti-corruption
agencies to work together to prevent, detect, investigate and
prosecute corruption cases.
Policing and SecurityDeliver more accountable policing and
remand servicesWe work with the police to provide better quality
services, protect human rights and be more accountable to
communities. Through a community-based policing approach, we
