PY 18 January 2019 January 1, 2019—January 31, 2019 WHAT DID THE PARTICIPANTS DO IN JANUARY? Participants have been busy developing résumés and practicing workplace skills. They are preparing for job internships and learning soft skills. The counselors continued group and individual counseling throughout the month. Counseling sessions are supported through community grants. A new initiative called Lunch Talk Time is underway. Carolina Foothills Federal Credit Union spent time with the participants in a financial literacy class, undergoing a variety of simulations as well as learning about how credit works. This year, we have had interests that we have been able to accommodate in cosmetology, culinary, veterinary tech, theater, health and cellphone/iPad repair. WHAT DID THE PARTICIPANTS DO IN JANUARY?

Participants have been busy developing résumés and practicing workplace skills. They are preparing for job internships and learning soft skills.
