Being a father means, facing many struggles and difficulties especially looking out for the family, making every effort to ensure that, they are protected and cared. But, being a father also means, hearing a child tell you that, they love you. It means, coming home to a hug, after a long day of work. As we celebrate Father’s Day, let us thank God for fathers, who raise their children strong and religious, and who dedicate their lives for their family and children. Happy Father’s Day to all fathers, who are here and who are not here, the fathers who died, the fathers who gave us love and life. May God bless them.

Happy Fathers’ Day
From Father Paul
Today we celebrate Father’s Day. Being a father means, facing many struggles and difficulties especially looking out for the
family, making every effort to ensure that, they are protected and cared. But, being a father also means, hearing a child tell you
that, they love you. It means, coming home to a hug, after a long day of work.
As we celebrate Father’s Day, let us thank God for fathers, who raise their children strong and religious, and who dedicate their lives for their family and children.
Happy Father’s Day to all fathers, who are here and who are not here, the fathers who died, the fathers who gave us love
and life. May God bless them.
Father Paul’s Reflections on the Readings
12th Sunday in Ordinary Time
Jeremiah’s life is a perennial source of inspiration for all those who have any desire to live for God or to all who wish to dedicate their lives for a just cause. Was his life a bed of roses? Obviously Jeremiah has to pay a very heavy price in order to carry out the mission that was entrusted to him. He was vehemently opposed, persecuted and rejected by all. He had also his own share of fears and doubts. Yet finally see him turning out to be a real hero, by putting his trust in the One who had called and chosen him. Today’s gospel Jesus tells us “fear not”. If we have to be true witnesses to Christ, we are bound to suffer; we will be opposed, persecuted and hated. Remember, whatever trouble or cri-sis affects us, we know that God understands it better than we our-selves. Our heavenly Father knows ex-actly what is happening. Let us remind ourselves that God cares, "Don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows."
