June 2016 – Behind the Scenes ‘Changing Times’ in Chichester Post The Chichester Post is a new free weekly magazine for the residents of the City of Chichester, with a current distribution of 15,000. The Post has been set up with a view to focussing solely on the city of Chichester, unlike the distribution of other local newspapers, such as the Chichester Observer, which covers a wider remit. The newspaper is published every Friday and boasts good quality editorial content, as well featuring local news and events. A Bognor Regis Post has also been set up with the same intentions. The Post contacted the Novium Museum to ask if we would like to be involved in the new paper, by contributing an article each week under the heading of ‘Changing Chichester’. The articles focus on the historical events, trades, people and places of Chichester that have contributed to the city’s rich and varied legacy. The paper can be picked up from the Novium Museum lobby, as well as free stands all over Chichester and Bognor, including all major supermarkets.
