TranScript June 2015 The ECW of Transfiguration presented its first annual Women of Grace Awards to Linnet Grant and to LTC Kirsten Seay Smith. Both women are leaders in the parish and go about their ministries quietly, resourcefully, and gracefully. The presentation of awards was quite emo- tional for all of us. For Linnet, the day not only held her up as a beloved member of the con- gregation, but reminded her of the anniversary of the death of another beloved member: her husband Leslie Grant. For Kirsten, it was not only a moment of being lifted up for her ministry in this place, but a time of knowing a farewell will soon come when she and her husband Phil- ip—also in the military—and their 3 children will PCS to Thailand. We will miss them. Place text here that describes any company policies or disclaimers. For example: “Each office inde- pendently owned and operated.”

To all who do so much to make Transfigura-
tion Parish the special place it is. If anyone else has brought in something that the of-
fice doesn’t know about, THANK YOU!
From a member of our Transfiguration family...
Mother Meg, President and Members of the ECW, other Members of my church Family,
Thank you for honoring me as one of the initial recipients of the "Women of Grace Award" at Transfiguration Parish. I am truly humbled by this award and will continue to share my blessings, within and beyond the walls of Transfiguration, as God's Grace allows.
Your donation to the "Food for the Poor" ministry, in my name, is also appreciated, since I am sympathetic and committed to the cause of feeding the hungry.
Thanks again and May God richly bless each of you. Yours in Christ, Linnet Grant
