Spirit Airlines Announces New Service to Kansas City

Spirit Airlines announced that Kansas City will be the 56th city added to its route network, offering daily nonstop ultra-low fare service to Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport, Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, Detroit’s Metropolitan Airport, and Las Vegas McCarran International Airport beginning on August 7, 2014, and service to Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport starting on August 8, 2014. ICSC U.S. MAXI Awards Winner Zona Rosa for its Change for the Better Campaign In keeping with its tradition of recognizing and honoring the premier marketing, community outreach, sales promotion, and visual merchandising efforts within the U.S. retail real estate industry, the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) is pleased to announce that Zona Rosa, Kansas City, Missouri, was presented with a silver U.S. MAXI Award. All winners represented the highest caliber of marketing excellence and exemplify collaboration, execution, and achievement within the retail real estate industry.The Zona Rosa Community Foundation was established in 2003, one year prior to Zona Rosa’s grand opening. The Foundation, funded primarily though change collected in parking meters located throughout the town center, supports a number of nonprofit organizations in the greater Kansas City community. 2013 marked a banner year for the Zona Rosa Community Foundation, with the donation of its one millionth dollar.
