tommy dang

Hello Division 4 North!

My name is Tommy Blakely Dang and I am OTTERLY honored to serve as your Division 4 North's Lieutenant Governor. Even though we have into only 2 months of the new term, you all have accomplished so much and even had 2,560 hours for March and April! Keep up the "golden" work Otters! Although the end of the school year is coming up, there are still opportunities to serve, fundraise and even visit your local Kiwanis club over the summer!

Be ready to have some fun summer socials and service projects the Division Leadership Team and I have planned for the summer. Also remember to attend our Region 3 Officer Training Conference, it's going to be AWESOME and hope to see you all there! If you have not already, remember to introduce yourself to me at upcoming events because I love meeting all my fellow Otters! I am here to serve YOU and I want to make your journey in Key Club this year the best and most memorable! If you ever need anything, don't hesitate to ask! I am always here for you and am only a phone-call or e-mail away. Have an otterly-fantastic last few weeks of school and I can't wait to see all of you soon!

Sincerely,

JULIE NGUYEN | EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT

Hello 4N Division my name is Julie Nguyen and I'm your EA for 2013-2014! I'm really happy to be a part of the division. Even though I'm a freshman, I will be happy to uphold this position as a dedicated member and participate improving the division. I really can't wait to work with everyone as a team and become a big happy family.

Division 4 North! My name is Ryan Nguyen and I am your new Executive Assistant so I am here to serve you and the Division. Don't hesitate to ask me any questions or concerns because I will gladly and willingly help you. I've been a part of key club since and freshman year but didn't find out about D4N until my junior year when I went to fall rally. Finding out about the division has changed my experience in key club greatly and has shown me why we are so distinct and set apart from other community service groups. So I will be working hard and doing my best to fulfill the duties of my position and make D4N better. I hope to have a great year working, volunteering, and bonding with you all!

RYAN TRUONG | SECRETARY

Hey Division 4 North, my name is Ryan Truong and I am proudly serving our division as Divisional Secretary. I’m currently a sophomore at Garden Grove

THU CAO | TECH EDITOR

MICHELLE NGUYEN| NEWSLETTER

From the North to the South, you might not know who I am. From the West to the East, you might see one, three, or more. And yet, you forgot me, Thu, in number two. To you, Thu might be a shy girl, but it does not mean she is anti-social. She is happy to be friends with you all, to be your new Tech Editor, and Thu cares to serve you all the best. However, without your true support, best can be the bad. Last but not least, Thu hopes you all will enjoy this new wonderful year and achieve all of your big dreams.

Hey D4N, my name’s Michelle and I’m your new Newsletter Editor. I’m sorry if this current newsletter looks pretty crappy, but I’ll try to make better ones next time! Um, there’s nothing much to say about me except that I’m a really awkward person.

I’ve been a member of Key Club since freshman year, but I’ve decided to become more dedicated and …social… with it this year. If you ever need any help, feel free to email me or give me a call because my job is to help you guys. I’m so excited to make this year absolutely amazing! Oh gosh, that’s cheesy.

High School, and I’m a proud Argonaut, whoops I mean Otternaut. If I was to be described in two words it would be Key Club and Tennis, if I’m not serving my community or sleeping, I’m hitting balls on the courts. Nothing really makes me stand out from everyone else; I’m your typical high school student with a spot in his heart for service and spirit. Overall I’m proud to serve Division 4 North and my community.

MARCH OF DIMES

PAST EVENTS AND DCM

MARCH OF DIMES

Today at the event, March 28th, 2013, March for babies, everyone was able to gather together as a family and support this great cause. It was a good experience and so much fun! I got to meet new people from other divisions and learned about our region more. It was also good exercise! Walking 3 miles around the block, and getting to see how many people had so much in common to support this. It was not just around one hundred of people, but way more. Everyone was so friendly towards each other and it was as if nothing mattered but saving lives of innocent babies. It was held at Fashion Island, where the air was clear and it was a bit cold in the morning, but got pretty warm towards the end. Otherwise, it was very fun and interesting.

Our new LTG, Tommy Dang, held a fantastic, outgoing DCM. It was able to bring us otters together and work up a goal for the future. To be together, hand in hand, and working along by one another, was a great sight to see. I look forward to the next DCM. To see how much we have pulled into our goal and reached higher and higher.
