The VIS4D Collaborative ProjectThe VIS4D Collaborative Project It is proposed that the project be conducted

over two phases. Phase I will allow the companies to prove out the

use of these imaging systems by utilizing a beta system in their facility. Phase I will also provide further funding for the University to advance these technologies based upon the participants’ requirements.

Phase II will be large scale development activities specific to the various participants needs and applications.

The VIS4D Collaborative Project - Phase IThe VIS4D Collaborative Project - Phase I Option #1: Beta Test Scenario

Cost: Each User Participant contributes $100K, each “passive participant” contributes $25K cash or $10K cash and $15K in-kind.

Deliverable: 1) Each user will get a beta CAD stereoscopic or telepresence system incorporating the mirror. 2) “Passive Participants” get full access to project results. 3) Technology is further developed at Strathclyde.

Duration: 12 months
