RECENT PRAYER CONCERNS

♦ Audrey Shultz has been diagnosed with early stage breast cancer and pre-cancer. She had an MRI Friday and will see a surgeon on the Wednesday, June 20th. ♦ Vernoise Chambliss is back at Brookhaven Health Care.

She is doing much better. ♦ Virginia Black remains in Mercy Rm 7103. She hopes to make

enough progress recovering from her broken hip to possibly return to her apartment this week.

♦ Hart Hansen will have shoulder surgery Wednesday, June 20th, at Cox Walnut Lawn.

PRAYERS AND SYMPATHIES GO OUT TO: Eula Mae Hale, on the loss of her niece, Lori Hale. Funeral services were held Friday.

Welcome to Sunset!! We are glad to have every single one of you here today. You will be blessed by a message from Dwight Samuel this morning and Bryce Kidwell tonight!! Next Sunday during our Bible Class time our elders will be meeting with all the adults to seek input as we look at options for new ministry opportunities in the coming years. This is an exciting time as we explore ways in which we can be a blessing in our community and see the expansion of the Kingdom of God! We were sorry to learn that Bryce and Susanna Kidwell will be leaving us later this summer. Bryce will be taking a new

position as the Family Minister at the Mesa Church of Christ in Mesa, Arizona. Our young people have been blessed by this couple over the past 4 ½ years. We wish them well as they complete their time here and make plans for a bright future! Thanks to Eric Filbeck and Joe Shiflett who are doing the power point for our assemblies! Have a great week!! I know the CREW has had a great time playing and working together over the last several days. Just a quick reminder for parents, I still need several medical forms as well as insurance card copies. Getting To Know You Terry and Bonnie Stine were married during the colorful sixties and lived for the first two years of their married life with no indoor plumbing and had to heat their home with wood. After roughing it those first few years, they decided they’d had all of that they cared to experience and have henceforth left the joys of camping to someone else.

Bonnie was born in San Diego CA, but quickly relocat-ed to the Ozarks where she met her hubby and partner Terry. They grew up and went to school in Ozark and then were dairy farmers until they retired.

The Stines have two children, Michael, who teaches music at Ozark and works as a musician and Shannon, who is self-employed and also works as a musician. Musical abilities seem to run in the family. Bonnie played the clarinet in high school while Terry played tuba and now plays the upright bass fiddle.

The Stines have been members at Sunset since Janu-ary of this year, usually attend 1st service, and sit on the west side of the center section.
