Betsy Jeff Penn 4H Educational Center is located in Reidsville, North Carolina. Our campers will enjoy the sprawling 200 acre grounds complete with fields, forests, lakes and streams. As always, campers will enjoy the usual Camp Jubilee experience of cabin living, cafeteria-style dining, special guests and our traditional Wednesday night campfire. The facility is fully ACCESSIBLE FOR OUR CAMPERS with only a few small hills.

About MJMMount Jubilee Ministries was established in 2005 in response to a defined interest to provide a residential summer camp for youth within the special needs population in the Piedmont Triad area of North Carolina. Due to the passionate commitment of the core group of faith-based founders, Camp Jubilee hosted its first week of camp in the summer of 2005 with five campers and six volunteers. Over the following years, approximately seventy Special Friends, ranging in ages from 10 to 44, have participated in this exceptional summer camp experience.MJM’s core belief is that ALL people, regardless of their ability, have a God ordained purpose and call for their lives. It is the conviction of the ministry that these Special Friends must have the opportunity to participate as members of society, without exception, to the fullest of their abilities. As the ministry has grown older, so have our friends. It has now become the purpose of MJM to partner with this special population by offering more than just a summer camp. It is our focus to begin expanding our program opportunities to include day programing, volunteer opportunities and respite care. The long range vision of MJM is a sustainable residential community for Special Friends.

About CampCampers will be involved in creative, fun activities designed around meeting their specific needs. Our Christ-centered camp program includes theatrical Bible lessons, singing, crafts, swimming, hiking, friends and good food. We are happy to announce that horseback riding, canoeing and archery will again be available this summer. All of the senior counseling staff have experience working with individuals who have special needs and we will have 3 nurses on staff at all times. Our goal is a one to one camper/counselor ratio, with a two to one camper/counselor ratio for our higher functioning campers. We welcome campers with mild to moderate disabilities who have no severe behaviors and are between the ages of 10 and 35 years old. We reserve the right to use flexibility in acceptance of those who are older than 35 yrs. Camp Jubilee 2019 promises to be a memorable summer as we get reacquainted with old friends and make new ones as well. REMEMBER, first come first served, so get your application in early and DON’T MISS OUT. A completed application is required for each camper including detailed information on their needs for medical care during their time at camp.
