Dear Friends, Thanks for the supportive comments given to Dea-con Dan and myself on the Catholic Evangelization Homily series. It’s a lot of work to prepare but its great fun to do together. We will fin-ish half of the series by the end of June and will take July off, finishing up the last half of August. I hope that what we are saying makes a dif-ference in your understanding and practice of Catholic evangelization. This past week and this weekend, a number of our young people are attending Blessings on the Bayou in Labadieville. Hundreds of young people spend service days, and celebration days centered in the Faith. Construction continues, although slowed some by the wet feet weather. Don’t’ forget when you are travelling this summer or anytime you can use www.masstimes.com to find a Catholic mass near where you will be going. VBS is happening this week. Watch for the kids on campus….. Have a good week. Love.

VOCATION The kingdom of God is like a mustard seed. Christ has sown the seed of your vocation within you. Might it be to grow in holiness as a priest, deacon or in the consecrated life? If you feel God is calling you to be one, call or email Father Matt Dupré at 225.336.8778, [email protected], or visit, www.diobr.org/vocations.
