Our Club hosted a new member acquaintance party on June 9th at

the Presidents home. There were 14 members in attendance who

brought individual hot appetizers and refreshments, which sated all

appetites and then some. These five ladies, along with our regular

members socialized, and shared their aims and expectations of being

a Myrtle Beach Womans Club member. Many common interestsand ideas were abounding. Following the party, members voted, and

I am so excited and happy to announce that these five ladies have

been ac- cepted as our 2011-12 Provisional

members. Congratulation ladies, and Welcome

to the MBWC, we look forward to working

and having good times together.

On June 28th, an orientation for the new

Provisional's was held @ FS#6, where Judy

White (VP) reviewed basic principles. guide-

lines, & required provisional obligations. Gail

Ward (Corresponding Sec.) reviewed the estab-

lished Point system for the ladies and the vari-ety of avenues to acquire them. Name tags for

these ladies will be available and ready to wear for the

Craftsman Show held in August.
