Win This (or another valuable choice)

MCSC is conducting an

extremely competitive

regatta up to and during the

Lobster Boil.

The competition centers

around the winning raffle ticket

for the yacht Freedom.

Whether you own a boat or not, this one

provides complete “freedom” from tangled lines,

luffing sails, slip, torage fees and it never

requires washing!

So what is this fabulous boat? It is a perfectly

sized 5' metal sculpture designed to sail in your

garden, deck, or patio! Built primarily of

copper and aluminum, the sturdy weighted base

is wrapped with “experienced” rope to

compliment the nautical theme. It even comes

with sparkling water and jumping fish!

Freedom was conceived and built by talented

MCSC enthusiasts, including Karen Buelow,

Gene Neyhart, R.C Zingler and Leon Boniface,

with help and advice from several others.

Hats OffLongtime MCSC member

Bonnee Beth Lugauer recently became

the first woman to take the Intermediate

Cruising class.

Bonnee Beth is such an avid sailor

interested in improving her skills that she

is currently the only woman to be

certified on every boat classification

within the MCSC fleet.

Bonnee Beth has also served as a

volunteer instructor and fully

utilizes her MCSC membership.

Congratulations and thank you,
