Nursery Needs: For those with small babies or toddlers, attended nursery is available. Ages birth to 24 months will be in the nursery at the end of the east hallway. Attendants are Kristen Ashpaugh and Sara Alsup. Two and three-year-old's will be in room 208. Attend-ants are Melissa Huber and Jeannine Schnelle. Men’s Bible Study: The Tuesday morning Men’s Bible Study will resume September 10 @ 10:00 a.m. in the conference room. They will continue their study in I Corinthians.
Ladies Bible Class: The Ladies Bible Class will resume meeting this Tuesday @ 10:00 a.m. in rooms 201 & 202. The study for this Fall is II Corinthians. Child care is provided.
Congratulations: Congratulations to our own Sam Emerson, OSU Nutritional Science Faculty member, who is featured in an article in the current issue of OSU’s STATE magazine regarding his research funded by the American Heart Association on ways older women can lower the risk for heart disease. Sam is in his third year as a faculty member and has also been honored for his work in mentoring students. Good job Sam!! Sympathy: To Haley Love at the passing of her grandmother Betty Rogers. Services were yesterday at the Church of Christ in Burleson, TX. Prayer Request: Dannielle Kinsey requests prayers for her brother-in-law, Troy Taber, who recently had ankle replacement surgery. The surgery took twice as long as anticipated. He is in a great deal of pain. He can’t put weight on his ankle for 4 weeks. Please keep him in your prayers for pain control, healing, and rehab.
