Draft Golf Course - Pine Centre Neighbourhood Plan Request for Comment and Open House

Prince George, BC - The City of Prince George has engaged McElhanney Consulting Services Ltd. andSite 360 Consulting Inc. to complete a neighbourhood plan for the land located Southwest of theintersection of Highways 16 and 97. This plan area includes portions of Pine Centre Mall, Prince GeorgeGolf & Curling Club, Roll-A-Dome, Prince George Playhouse, and Pine Valley Golf Course.

The intent of this plan is to provide certainty to the general community, land owners, and developersrespecting the appropriate land use and development of this key property while remaining sensitive todowntown redevelopment, maintaining green space, considering commercial development andcontextually relevant to the surrounding neighbourhood form and character.

The community is invited to provide comments on this draft plan and to attend a Public Open House. Cityrepresentatives will be in attendance to receive comments/concerns/suggestions and to provide furtherinformation on the draft plan. Information Boards relating to the Draft Neighbourhood Plans land uselayout will also be available for public viewing.
