July 26, 2019 Room 2 Update Within a couple weeks, Miss Katie from Room 2 will be going back to school. She will be working towards her degree in psychology to someday work within the mental health field. We are very proud of her! Luckily, Katie will not be leaving us. However, she will be cutting back on hours to focus on school. Her schedule will change to become Monday through Fri- day and she will work from 6:30 am until 10:30 am. To fill her shoes, we have found a perfect new teacher to join our team. Please help us welcome Paola Aguayo Arana. Paola has been training and observing in the classroom. She is upbeat, kind, and very nurturing. Her son Noah will also be joining us in Room 2! Welcome Paola, we are so ex- cited to have you aboard. Last Day Reminders It seems much too early to even think about this….however, we would like to remind families to notify us of their last days as soon as possible. Kris will be doing August billing next week and we would like to be sure you are being charged correctly. For any families that are leaving at the end of the summer, please contact us to confirm your last day by the end of next week. Likewise, if you are staying with us this fall and are changing your sched- ule in any way, be sure to let us know promptly. Donation Requests We have a few classroom requests to pass along. Please think of us if you have any of the following to donate: • Men’s button up shirts, they are perfect for smocks. • Egg cartons, any kind works….Room 5 is working on a giant structure. • Plastic grocery bags, this is ongoing in all of our rooms to send home dirty clothes Busy Weekend Lots of fun stuff going on this weekend. Summer is flying by, so we hope you can get out there and enjoy one of these events! Room 2 Update
