Tonite we see 5 rookies try to chase down 3 year veteran Brent Lane of Cat Country in the annual Celebrity Race. Some might say Brent has the advantage, but remember nothing is guaranteed. The sheriff and trooper have some experience in high speed persuit. It’s all for fun to benefit United Cerebral Palsy, and all participants will be presenting the check to UCP, and hopefully a “NICE” check. Last years winner Marty White (WXBM) is not eligible this year, so we are putting him behind the wheel of the Allen Turner Hyundai pace. Photos of all 6 are inside, and we thank the Bomber drivers donating the use of their cars for this special event Our Grand Marshall tonight is Buzz Ritchie, UCP board member and the Prez of Gulf Coast Community Bank. We welcome Buzz and over 2 dozen employees of the bank for an evening of fun. Also on the card tonite we will enjoy the return of the Pro Late Models, Super Stocks, Sportsmen and Bomber divisions. “Get Ready to Rumble” again on August 7th as Blizzard #4 hits the track with the lightening fast Super Late Models. They will be joined by the Modifieds, Sportsmen and Bombers. Before we sign off we would like to have your input on the TBARA Sprint Cars. Let us know if you want them back next year. See Ya!
