Pick Goals That Are:Realistic

Set a long-term goal for yourself thatis possible for you to accomplishwithin a reasonable amount of time(for example, by the end of themarking period).

ManageablePick a goal that you can break downinto a series of small short-term steps(or sub-goals). The best way tochange a behavior is to do it in smallsteps.

MeasurableChoose a goal that is measurable soyou can tell whether you haveachieved it or how much further youhave to improve before you do.

Meaningful to YouYour goals should be something thatyou really want to do rather thansomething you feel you should do.

What is Alcohol?

Say "No" to AlcoholIt can be tempting to try alcohol. It's normal to be curious about newthings, especially if it seems likeeveryone is doing it. But everyone isnot drinking alcohol. Don't believeit if someone says you're immaturefor not drinking. You're actuallymore mature (which means grownup) because you're being strong andsmart.

Alcohol is a drug that slows down or depressesthe brain. Like many drugs, alcohol changes aperson's ability to think, speak, and see thingsas they really are.

Pledge to be Alcohol Free!

I pledge to keep my body strong and bethe best that I can be. I will say "No" toalcohol because it is unhealthy. I pledgeto stay alcohol free!
