God Month The Goshorns Step by Step We had such a busy month, I’m not sure where to begin. As I said in our last newsleer, we started having trouble at the orphanage aſter having a kids club. Kid’s Clubs consist of songs, dances, games and a Bible lesson. We’re not sure why, but we’re prey sure it’s because of the Bible lesson, which the kids loved. We asked you all to pray about this and low and behold, they hired a new director for the orphanage and it’s someone that has worked there since we started going. Pray that this is a good change. We also started fixing up the playground, painng and welding the broken parts. Our team from the States that we’ve been preparing for came and went. We are so proud of them. We traveled to a community called Lucma, which was not an easy trip for them, and then we stayed in a hotel that was definitely more rusc than what most people are used to. Not once did we have anyone complain. This team helped with construcng a church building. You have to remember that the building is important, but the church is the people, the body of believers, and the relaonships that were built will be beneficial for the Kingdom for years to come. God also blessed us with the opportunity of providing kids club at a local school every day. The team did an awesome job of preparing Bible stories and craſts. There was also dancing, songs, and prayer. We had about 100 kids every day and they had a blast. At the school we also had the privilege of serving lunch to the kids before the July 2015 We humbly thank you for your continued prayers and financial support. If you haven’t yet, we ask that you would prayerfully consider financially supporting this ministry in Peru. Without more financial partners this ministry can not continue to grow. We love you all and thank you for being part of God’s work in Peru. Painting at the orphanage The Painting at the orphanage Kid’s Club started. One night we provided a movie for the communies in the area (Son of God) and we had a packed house. We were the first foreigners most had ever seen, so when we had people of those communies come up to us and say thank you for what you are doing, it touched our hearts. We also had the privilege to visit a women who has been bed ridden for two years and we got to pray for her. While we were there, her family made a commitment to Christ. We went back later and gave them a Bible and the younger couple of the family said that they want to visit us in Huancayo. Overall, this short-term team was a huge blessing to both us and the people of Lucma, and we hope and believe that the relaonships formed on this trip will lead to some great advancement of the Kingdom in that area as many expressed interest in a Discipleship study.

We had such a busy month, Im not sure where to begin. As I said in our last newsletter, we started having trouble at the orphanage after having a kids club. Its about the next life As you know, we travel to Tinyari on Wednesdays to help out with kids Bible lessons. One particular Wednesday we had the opportunity

to visit with Vanessa. She lives near the school in a house with different

animals. Vanessa is 26 years old and is basically the family slave. She

has to work all day and serve the family. They will stop by and grill her

on why potatoes arent dug, drop kids off for her to watch or for

whatever else they need. Vanessa cant read or write but she loves to

have the Bible read to her. She says that evenings are hard for her

    because she struggles with demons.

Slavery was abolished in Peru in 1856; however slavery continues to affect an estimated 82,000 people in

Peru. People are surprised that slavery still exists. Modern slavery has a lot of characteristics of historical

slavery. People are controlled through violence and then exploited. Peru is the fourth largest producer of

gold in the world. 20% of the gold is mined with child slaves, with over two million children in Peru working in

some sort of child labor. The U.S. State Department says that Peru is a hot spot for slavery and human

    trafficking.

We exist only to share Gods Kingdom. When we see Vanessa cry so hard that she can hardly talk it rips our

hearts out. We might not be able to help Vanessa with her living situation, but we can share Christ with her

and maybe in turn she can share with her family. Please pray for her daily. Pray that she will find peace in

Jesus, pray that the Lord will guide us in everything we do, pray that we can purchase or that someone will

donate solar powered audio-bibles (proclaimers) for her and others like her to listen to. We are not promised

a life of ease, in fact a lot of times life becomes harder when we live for Christ. What we are promised is life

    eternal.

I read a quote by Matt Chandler that said:

No change of job, no increased income, no new home, no new

electronic device, or no new spouse is going to make things better

    inside of you.

Without Jesus living inside you, youll never know true happiness.

    Everything else is temporary.

John 14:6 Jesus answered, I am the way and the

truth and the life. No one comes to the

    Father except through me.

God has been very clear that we cannot do anything alone. First we need Him, second we need the Body of Christ. We will never be

effective ministers of Gods word without your prayers and financial

support. Please consider partnering with us to further Gods Kingdom in Peru.
