Emirates College of

Technology has recently

stepped forward through

signing a Memorandum

of Understanding with

the Institute of Finance

and Management, a

pioneering consultancy

and training institute, on

June 23rd, 2015. By

signing this MoU,the two

parties expressed their

willingness to cooperate

with each other in

IFM & Emirates college of Technology Sign MoU

aafaq Islamic Finance,

a leading provider of

Islamic finance

products and e-

government services in

the UAE, has recently

signed a Memorandum

of Understanding

(MoU) with the Dubai

Centre for Islamic

Banking and Finance

(DCIBF) of Hamdan

Bin Mohammad Smart University (HBMSU).

Aafaq and HBMSM Sign MoU

IFM and IIRA, the

international Islamic

Rating Agency signed

a collaboration

agreement to issue a

joint professional

certificate in Credit

Risk analysis, on the

IFM and IIRA Sign a cooperation Agreement in a joint Professional Certificate

enabling students of ECT

to incorporate elements

of practical experience in

its programs and

strengthen their exposure

to best practices in

Islamic Finance.

As per this agreement,

Institute of Finance and

Management will align

its professional

certificates in Islamic

Banking and Islamic

Financial Markets with

the ECT curricula to

create an equivalency in

line with the Institute of

Finance and

Management

requirements. Therefore,

ECT students may apply

for a professional

certificate from the

Institute of Finance and

Management……

certificates On Islamic

Arbitration jointly.

The first certificate is “The

IFM and IICRA cooperate in issuing the Certified Islamic Arbitrator

Agency agreement was

signed with Arab Institute

for Accountants & Legal

(AIAL) in UAE, and Al

Bayan Center for Islamic

financial engineering in

Sudan whereby both

agents will be exclusive

training providers of IFM

global certificates in

Islamic finance.

Arbitrator” which lasts

for a period of three

months, entitles its

holder to become a

is Islamic Arbitration

Certificate which last

for one week and

covers the basic

concepts of Islamic

Arbitration.

It is worth mentioning

that IICRA is an

international,

independent, non-profit

organization, and one

major infrastructure

institutions of the

Islamic finance

industry.

The center settles in all

financial and

commercial disputes

that arise between

financial or business

institutions that choose

to apply the provisions

of Islamic law, Sharia

principles, in resolving

disputes arise between

these institutions and

their clients or between

them and third parties

through reconciliation or

arbitration.
