We are grateful to Janet Burgess, Deputy Leader of Islington Council, for her efforts to resolve these issues. The Ladies 3 team havestarted using the new Screen-works Kitchen for post-matchsuppers. Owners Ian and Finnopened specially, agreeing themenu with them beforehand.
They had slowroast shoulderof lamb, riceand Greeksalad followedby a delicious
pavlova. Pasta was providedfor the vegetarians.
Charges are modest which isessential as we pay for ouropponents and the teambrought their own wine as thecafé is not yet licensed.
Ring Ian Marshall to arrange amatch supper or chat to L3Captain Caroline Griffiths.
Screen-worksKitchen isan idealvenue forcoffee andsnacksafterweekday training or play.
In August they plan to startopening on Saturdays forbrunch between 10.00am and3.00pm so give them a go.
