Subject: Carestream Health, Inc. and Quantum Medical Imaging Legacy Systems Update

This document is to provide an update on activities around the service and support of the Quantum Medical

Imaging Products by Carestream Service and Parts Support processes and facilities.

As previously announced prior to manufacturing relocation the following Quantum Legacy Products have

been discontinued. This document is intended to formalize the list of products affected and provide itemized

detail of product discontinued along with service and replacement strategy. Please note that in some cases the

discontinuance of the Quantum item is still available as a Carestream product with a comparable but not

identical design.

Our goal is to provide a pathway to maintain operational performance of legacy Q-Rad & DRX-Ascend

(Model Name Q-Rad) systems for Seven (7) years after sale as Carestream has done in the past. Again, many

components can be replaced with nearly identical substitutes. Where this is not the case we continue to

provide service and support for many of these systems depending on parts available. In all cases we will

continue to make a best efforts attempt to provide a replacement part or product migration path.

Below is a detailed list of Quantum legacy products with our Carestream support strategy for each item.

In addition to the table below our earlier announced plans for generators continue. Specifically, the current

Carestream three phase generators have replaced the Quantum design dating back to 2016. These new

generators have performed well for over two (2) years and continue to be shipped. The 32kw and 40kw

Quantum Designed Single Phase and the Stored Energy generators (32kw, 40kw, & 50kw) continue to be

shipped as usual and will be changed over to the new generator design in the future.

Service Support and Parts

Warranty and post warranty parts for Q-RAD equipment continues through the Carestream Parts Order

Process.
