The Remote ControlUse the large, touchscreen remote control to select a source to send. This located at the podium and can operate wirelessly.

Document Camera Use the document camera to display photographs and documents

admitted into evidence The document camera is located on the podium. The power button and controls are on the unit. Don’t forget to take the lens cap off!

Laptop connectivity Each counsel table has laptop connectivity. Laptops connect via a serial port for video and a 1/8”

audio line (standard headphone line). Power is available. Laptops may also be plugged in at the podium. The Court has video and audio cables available for

use.

DVD/CD, VCR, Cassette Counsel may view videos and play sound through the court’s system. For recorded depositions, the Court requires parties to submit an edited video for

playback (i.e. the parties cannot use the court’s system to manually edit out objections that have been sustained).

The remote control allows counsel to pause, fast forward, rewind, etc. The judge controls the volume.

Annotations Both a witness and counsel have the ability to annotate

evidence place on display screens. The witness may annotate from the witness stand using his or

her finger on the touch screen display. Counsel may annotate on the large display screen using the

markers. All annotations will display on the judge and jurors’ screens.

Accessibility The Court has wireless microphones, including a lapel

microphone, and headsets for the hearing impaired. These are available for use upon request.
