  • Myth of Mass Suicide The myth of mass lemming suicide began when the Walt Disney movie, Wild Wilderness was released in 1958. It was filmed in Alberta, Canada, far from the sea and not a native home to lemmings. So the film makers imported lemmings, by buying them from Inuit children.
  • Slide 27
  • Myth of Mass Suicide The migration sequence was filmed by placing the lemmings on a spinning turntable that was covered with snow, and then shooting it from many different angles. The cliff-death-plunge sequence was done by herding the lemmings over a small cliff into a river.

  • Doc, or anyone... Why's it easier to do gene therapy when normal allele is dominant allele of gene concerned? I have taught my little sister 'i am a seedless grape', it's replaced her favorite nursery rhyme she can't stop singing it! Is our exam a week on friday? ive lost my statement of entry and is it morning or afternoon Doc, random question... inside your body, what colour is blood? My brother is telling me it is purple and blue. I hope genetic modification comes up as that song will be stuck in my head for the rest of my life!!
