Paul is really grateful for the all-out support given by her mother and his family. The Binalot franchise replaced the canteen business in Makati, a move described by Paul as a stepping stone to bigger opportunities in the future.

Looking back, the young entrepreneur amusingly reminisced some of the problems he encountered in

opening the business, foremost of which is finding the start-up capital. He is also aware that risks are always a part of every business. He believes that the best thing to do is to take calculated risks, bearing in mind that every risk presents a new opportunity to get better. Interestingly, Paul has no cooking experience when he decided to venture into the Binalot business. However it didn’t dampen his spirit as he plunged head-on to learn the tricks of the business.
