Journeys is a relatively unique business book in that it uses the art of storytelling to highlight some important messages about management. It contains 15 interlinked short stories, real-world and work-related perhaps but they are stories nonetheless, each of which explores a different aspect of management. Many are linked by common themes and characters, but all promote the view that our potential for success – in business and beyond – is directly influenced by the interplay between our attitudes, attributes and actions. In other words, we must constantly focus on who we are and how we think, because that ultimately drives what we do.
