• Joseph Kavana is Chairman and CEO Of K-Group Holdings, Inc. a holding company with several real estate development and investment interests. K-Group Holdings Inc. also acts as a venture capital investor in various media/communications, and internet technology start-ups. With more than 20 years of experience in the field as an active developer and investor, Joseph Kavana’s experience spans various asset classes that include land development, commercial/retail, multi-family, and industrial. In the 1980s, he was involved in land development deals including Jacaranda West (Plantation, Florida) and Chapel Trail (Pembroke Pines, Florida), which represented over 400 acres of land. More recently, Mr. Kavana has made significant investments in Sunrise, Florida where in 1994/95; he purchased 65 acres of land through Sawgrass Property Investments and Sawgrass 17 Acres Partnership.

He has been completely involved with the project ever since its beginning and the project will encompass 2,800 residential units, 650,000 square feet of office spaces, and 485,000 square feet of retail space.
