Sections
Sections can contain numerous categories, and categories can contain numerous articles.
New Section
Create as many sections as you need. Use sections to group generally similar items together into groups.

Give the section a title.
Categories
Use the same steps as in sections to create categories.
Articles
Articles hold the provide the content in Joomla.

Each article is part of a Section and a Category.
New Article
Make sure each article has a title and is filed under a section and category.
New Article II
When you are done editing make sure to click save, otherwise the article will be locked for other users.
Article List
You can publish/unpublish articles without deleting them. You can also make them show up on the first page (frontpage).
Users
You can add new users (editors, admins) to the system in the User Manager
User Manager
You can change user rights and activity (enabled/disabled) in the user manager.
New User
You can create new users (Name, Email, Password) and give them different permissions or select which in language they should use Joomla.
Menus
You can create new menus and customize the current ones in the Menus Dropdown.

Menus can link to Articles, Categories or Sections.

You can publish/unpublish menu items and change their order in a menu.

You can link to articles, categories and sections. Sections and Categories can chronologically show all the articles contained in that container (Blog Layout).

Select the article that the menu item should point to.
