– About 8 - 12 scouts

– The smallest unit in a pack

– Led by a trained parent

• A Pack is …– A group of dens

– Led by a Cubmaster

– Also led by the Pack Committee

– Scouts, Den Leaders & Tiger Cub Adult Partners– Time & place arranged by Den Leader– Generally 1-2 meetings each month

• Pack Meetings– Scouts, leaders and families – 7PM, once a month

• Pack Special Events– As scheduled

Cub Scout Rank Advancement• Ranks are earned, in succession

(depending on year joined)– Bobcat – Earned by all Cub Scouts– Tiger Cub Trail – 1st Grade Boys– Wolf Trail – 2nd Grade Boys– Bear Trail – 3rd Grade Boys– Webelos Trail – 4th Grade Boys– Arrow of Light Trail – 5th Grade Boys

• Each rank has a set of requirements that must be completed to earn the uniform badge

Additional Cub Scout Awards

• All Ranks have Achievements & Electives– Additional tasks that can be completed– Presented as patches, beads or arrow points

• Webelos can also earn activity badges– Total of 20 badges available– Grouped by discipline (i.e.: “Community”, “Outdoor”)

• Arrow of Light– Highest award in Cub Scouting– Only badge that can be worn on a Boy Scout uniform
