We create meals that bring our members together and make them happy. That makes us happy, too. ~ Chef Farnsworth

Whether it’s as simple as a burger on our beach, or as exquisite as an evening in The Oak Room, every John’s Island

dining experience has one thing in common — pure enjoyment. Sharing a wonderful meal in a beautiful environment

simply makes our members happy — and that is what John’s Island dining is all about.

Chef John Farnsworth is the main reason it’s all so delicious, so perfectly prepared, so impeccably served. For over

15 years, his expertise and high standards have inspired us. Students at The Culinary Institute of America come here to

learn from him. A staff of a hundred or more highly trained individuals devote themselves to meeting Chef’s expectations

every day. So wherever you choose to dine, your experience is always delightful.

OUR CHOICE, FROM CLASSIC TO CASUAL

THE FIRESIDE Deep colors and a handsome hearth lend a sophisticated air and inspire conversation.

THE OAK ROOM Bathed in light from tall windows, made cozy by the curved wall, many members love the more formal Oak Room for sunset gazing over the golf course.

THE BAR Unwind in this brilliantly stocked bar, spending time with old friends and meeting new ones. A great place to swap stories.

OCEAN ROOM Fans whirl lazily over this wide, welcoming room with a fresh Caribbean ambiance and spectacular panoramic Atlantic views.

RAFTERS “Meet me at Rafters!” is shorthand for fun, from breakfast ‘til late at night, featuring ocean breezes and incomparable views.

THE HEARTH Slip into this gorgeous room when you prefer a quiet, intimate space. With its artful ceilings and cozy fireplace, it’s a favorite spot for anytime dining.

WEST CLUBHOUSE Tucked into the natural sand ridge of the West Course, this hidden jewel offers an old-style Florida club environment, where you can relax with a cool drink and a light lunch.

19TH HOLE Shaded by market umbrellas and surrounded by flowers, this is the ideal spot for a quick bite, with both table-side and walk-up service for soups, salads and sandwiches.

ON THE BEACH Push your toes into the sand, and dig into a burger or a hotdog. Delicious view, too.

COURTSIDE CAFÉ An easy-going choice after a vigorous match. Join your friends for refreshments and a chance to make plans for the re-match.

For us, it’s as much about the good company as the good food.

Here, we always have both. ~ L.N. Member since 2001

Good friends, good times, good food. These are words we live by. So when our members sit down to a baby arugula

and butter lettuce salad, they may not realize it was organically grown at Osceola Farms. Or that it was picked that

morning to be served that evening. All they know is that it’s another perfectly delicious part of another perfectly

wonderful dining experience.

Our entire evening was a delight, from appetizers at sunset to that final drop of cognac. ~ K. B. Member since 1999

Sharing a wonderful meal is such an important part of John’s Island Club. We see to it that you enjoy every moment of

that experience. That takes perfect timing from our well-trained staff, the support of our Level II Court of the Masters

Sommelier, and of course, the experience and creativity of excellent chefs. We don’t want to miss our chance to create

another wonderful evening for you.

We love having a great spot to drop into, whether we’re headed for the back nine or at courtside.

~ S. W. Member since 2006

Just because a meal is casual doesn’t mean it can’t be great. Everyone agrees, a salad is a labor of love. Homemade

soups are better by far. And everybody’s favorite sandwiches should be stacked with the freshest deli and cheeses —

along with a healthy dollop of TLC.

It’s our Rafters tradition: whoever loses the round of golf picks up the round of Hummers. ~ J. J., Member since 1999

John’s Island Club is all about being social and having fun, and the foods served always help make that happen.

Maybe it’s a couple of friends sharing tapas. Maybe it’s a Theme Night featuring an array of new flavors spiced with

plenty of laughter. One thing’s certain: everyone goes home happy.
