Install Slip Clutch-337, 347 and 348 Balers With Category 4 Powerline

IMPORTANT: Adjust slip clutch end play to specification.
1. Assemble spacer (A) on input shaft (B) with counterbore over snap ring.
2. Install slip clutch (C) on shaft.
3. Add thrust washer (0), thrust bearing (E), and thrust washer (F) on shaft.
4. Assemble yoke (I), thrust washer (J), thrust bearing (K), thrust washer (L), and collar (M) on shaft. Put a

IMPORTANT: Adjust slip clutch end play to specification.
1. Pull slip clutch towards yoke to check for specified clearance between spacer (A) and slip clutch hub (B).

2. Remove retainer collar (C), add washers (as necessary) to input shaft.
3. Install retainer collar and secure with spring pin.

punch in hole of collar to locate yoke. Pull slip clutch against yoke. Check for specified end play between slip clutch and spacer.

4. Remove external cap screws (1). Separate bearing block (8) from filter assembly block (4).
5. Remove internal cap screws (5). Separate bearing block (8) from end block (22).
6. Remove plug (2), pressure relief valve (3), dowel pins (6), O-rings (7), bearings (9), backup ring (10), seal (11), pressure plate (12), Idler gears (13 and 14), retainer clips (15), set screw (16), shaft (17), key (18), wear plate (19), seal (20), seal plate (21), bearing (23), seal (24), seal (25), retaining ring (26), shaft (27), and key (28).
7. Inspect parts for wear and damage. Replace as necessary.
8. Assemble in reverse order using the following special instructions:
IMPORTANT: Use new O-rings, damaged or used O-rings leak.
a. Lubricate all parts before assembling.
b. Install shaft seal (25) to specification.
2. Remove reservoir. (See Disassemble and Assemble Reservoir in Section 30, Group 15.)
3. Scribe a line the length of pump to aid in assembly.
