2. There once was a puppy named Bentley . He had always wanted to travel to a far away land. He had heard many stories from his mother.
3. She always told him a story before he went to bed at night. They were always about kingdoms and princes and princesses and magic. He looked forward to bedtime every night because he couldnt wait to hear the new story.
4. The story before he went to bed this time was about a girl that fell asleep and woke up in a magic place. She had to battle mean people and she made many friends. But in order to get home she had to answer one question. If she got it rite then she would get to go home.
5. So when Bentley went to sleep that night he dreamed about the girl and the magical land. But all of a sudden when he woke up he was in the story, not the girl.
6. Bentley was very scared and afraid. But he knew the story that his mom had told him. He knew he had to find the magical gate where he would have to answer whatever the gatekeeper told him to.
7. So Bentley started his journey. He ended up making a lot of knew friends that helped him a long his journey.
8. When he arrived at the magical gate the gatekeeper asked him what he wanted. He told the gatekeeper that he wanted to go home. So the gatekeeper gave him a problem that he would have to solve in order for him to go home. The problem was(2x3-3x2-5x-12) / (x-3).
9. Bentley was a very smart puppy. So he knew that you should take the equation that you are dividing by and solve for x.
10. Then after he did that he put 3 over to the side in a half box. Then he took the other equation 2x3-3x2-5x-12 and separated it.
11. The first row was 2 -3-5-12. He took the coefficients out of the problem and put it into the first row.
12. He then took the first number 2 and multiply it by 3. Then he added the answer 6 to -3. The answer that he got was 3. Then he took that answer and multiplied it by the three that was in the side box. And he got 9. He took that answer and added it to -5. That gave him 4. He multiplied 4 by 3. That gave him 12. He took the 12 and added it to -12 which gave him 0.
13. So he finished the problem and ended up with 2x2+3x+4. He waited eagerly hoping that he had gotten the rite answer. Then all of a sudden the gate opened and he saw a bright light and he was home.
