John 1:1-14

John 1:1–14

1:2 The same was in the beginning with God.

Let there be light! 1

1:3 All things were made by Him; and without Him was not anything made that was made.

Let us make man in our image.2

1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

1:4 In Him was life; and the life was the light of men.

1:5 And the light shines in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. I am the light of the

world: he that follows Me shall not walk in

darkness, but shall have the light of life.3

What's he talking about?

He’s blaspheming!4

1:7 The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe.

1:6 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.

1:8 He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.

Behold the Lamb of God, which takes away the

sin of the world.7

I indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier than I comes.

He shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost

and with fire!6

1:9 That was the true Light, which lights every man that comes into the world.

1:10 He was in the world, and the world was made by Him, and the world knew Him not.

1:11 He came to His own, and His own received Him not.

Crucify Him! Crucify Him!9

What need we any further witnesses? You have heard the

blasphemy!8

What will you then that I shall do to him

whom you call the King of the Jews?

1:12 But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name:

1:13 Which were born,

not of blood,

nor of the will of the flesh,

nor of the will of man,

but of God.

Yes. I’d like to have a girl.

Thank You, Father, for Your Son, Jesus!

God ... Wow!

1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelled among us,(and we beheld His

glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of

grace and truth.Fear not, Mary:

for you have found favor with God.

And, behold, you shall

conceive in your womb,

and bring forth a son,

and shall call His name

JESUS.10
