POSTDOCTORAL SCIENTIST – CYSTIC FIBROSISLung disease begins very early in life for children with cystic fibrosis. The CF clinic in Perth has established a

program aimed at early detection of lung disease that involves collection of biological samples, physiological measurements and medical imaging in the first months of life and annually until the age of 6 years. This

program, known as AREST CF, currently operates across two sites, Perth and Melbourne and may expand in the future. These data are used to: understand how lung disease develops; optimize current clinical treatment; and

design and test new preventative treatments to improve outcome for these children. The Telethon Institute for Child Health Research is currently seeking a full time Postdoctoral Scientist to oversee
