How to Export to RefWorks

• Mark desired records


• Click on "Export/e-mail results" (located immediately above the search result list)


• For Step 1, select "Selected records"


• For Step 2, select "BibTeX"


• For Step 3, select "Abstract (title/author/affiliation/abstract)"


• For Step 4, select "Disk"


• Click on "Export Results"


• Click on "File" from the browser's pull down menu and click on "Save As"


• Save as a “Text File(*.txt)”


• Open another window in which you will connect and log in to your RefWorks account (http://refworks.scholarsportal.info)


• In RefWorks, select "References" and then "Import"


• select "BibTeX" as the Import Filter and "<Multiple Databases>" as the Database


• Select for Encoding "UTF-8"


• Select "Import Data from the Following Text File" and then browse for your file


• Click on "Import" at the bottom of the screen
