To increase students’ ICT skills in order to break down potential barriers to their learning.
Purpose
Self-contained structured sessions
Completed with Learning Supervisors, lecturers, or independently
Can be completed as part of eSkills course
Can be attended as ‘one-off’ sessions
Bespoke sessions for specific queries.

Need to draw students into conversation (Kindle giveaway). Helping students in C30 main info store. Ask other Info Store staff to push eskills when helping students. Email lecturers specifically after helping students to make them aware of knowledge gaps that we can resolve.

Outcomes
Most successful when approaching individual tutors who then make repeated class bookings
An unexpected route of access: when assisting students having ICT problems in the Library, asking for tutor details and contacting them directly
Activities and handouts increase learner satisfaction and engagement
