In that decade, it seemed that the golden age of the nations of the world restructured after World War II started to fall apart. The Vietnam War, Hippie movement, the Civil Rights movement, and so forth became central issues among young people at that time. And many of them were so into subculture such as music, art, and surfing. They struggled to create something new to disintegrate the old values, and they called it “the Revolution”. It has past a half century since then. Have we succeeded in changing the world? Looking back how it was in the 1960s must be worthy of consideration. # Jimi Hendrix # Apol lo 11 # Surfing # Yayoi Kusama SPECIAL

Surfing culture had continued to evolve by itself over a long period of its history since Polynesian origins. In 1960, “Short Board Revolution” brought a drastic change into the history of surfing.
