Practising is more that writing minutes on a page to hand in for a grade….

Slide Title

Picture of student handing in practice chart

Sounds of a rehearsal in the background, sounding as if the students have not even looked at the music.

In many instances, students think that playing through their music without correcting mistakes is all they have to do for practice.. This slide is in this sequence to point out to the students that they will not progress on their instrument and they will be think of practice as dull and boring if they do not address the issues they may be having in a given piece of music.

Content should include info on knowing what to practice how it should sound.

Slide Title

This slide should include a photo of music marked for practicing with a recording of a student working on a small section or a few notes of a piece.

This slide should have content pertaining to the student’s approach to a piece of music they are getting ready to practice. It is in this sequence to prompt the student to look at smaller parts of the music that need more attention instead of playing trough the entire piece.

On this slide, the onscreen content should include a “checklist “ to give the students some of the tools they will need to work through difficult sections of the music.

Slide Title

This should contain a piece of music with a small section of it enlarged to show focus on that section.

The script for this slide should give the student tools for working on a piece such as slowing down the tempo, working through the fingerings, etc. This slide is here to help the students learn how to find the problems spots and how to fix them.

High-level content overview that would appear onscreen.

Slide Title

Place suggested photo or multimedia here; If no media is available, describe what it should be.

In a full project, the voiceover or script for the stand-up trainer would go here. For your project, provide some context about the onscreen content, why it is important, and why it fits here in sequence.

If this is an elearning module or the instructor can move in a non-linear fashion. Indicate that here. What is clicked on? - The graphic? A link? A Next button? What happens? - Move to another slide? A website? A new graphic appears? An animation happens?

If every slide requires a common navigation, adjust these boxes to show that navigation on each slide.
