Kindergarten technology

• No computers at schools.• I had a 286 computer that used

DOS as its OS at home. But, I used it only for playing games, not for educational purposes at all.

• I had a color television at home, but schools were not equipped with it yet.

A technology I want to use in my classroom

• I teach Korean language to the second generation of Korean immigrants at Korean Cultural School and there are no computers at all. So, I just want one computer lab equipped with microphones and speakers for language learning.

My vision of the classroom of the future

• Every student will have access to technology in classrooms.

• Smart Board is equipped in every classroom.

• When it comes to learning, students do not only read, but they get to smell, listen, taste, and touch.

Words of wisdom

• The principle goal of education is to create men and woman who are capable of doing new things, not simply repeating what other generations have done.
