Christmas is a time when love is shared through gifts. The Bible says, Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift!

(II Corinthians 9:15)Another translation of the Bible says God

gave us an unspeakable gift which cannot be expressed in words (II Corinthians 9:15 - KJV). This is what Apostle Paul says, “thanks be to God for this unspeakable, indescribable gift.

Sometime ago, a husband and wife were expecting the birth of their first child . Soon the wife went into labour in a hospital, and gave birth to a baby. The doctor who assisted the birth of the child came out and said to the husband, “The baby was born but it died within few minutes after its birth. We are so sorry.” The father said, “Doctor, if my child is dead, I would like to donate the eyes of my child to a blind person needing sight. I want to give my child’s eyes to

a person whose eyes are dead and cannot see the world.” The doctor said, “Yes, we will do it” and completed the procedures for donating the eyes. The eyes of the child were removed. The father of a large family received one eye; the mother of an ailing family received another one. They both received sight and their families also received light through their eyes. Both families thanked the family of the child saying, “This little child is an indescribable gift to our family.”

God, the Father gave Jesus as an indescribable gift to the world on Christmas Day. When Jesus came into the world, He brought light into this world (Matthew 4:16).

For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting

Father, Prince of Peace. (Isaiah 9:6)

The WonderfulThe Almighty God had come

down in the form of a baby. The prophet Isaiah says, “I saw the Almighty God in heaven.

He is called Wonderful.” This wonderful God came down to earth as a baby for us to show His wonderful power.

Many years ago, a lonely woman was on her deathbed. She was dying of sickness and was in the fag end of her life. One cold night the door of her house opened all of a sudden and a very renowned doctor of that town walked in. He nursed her and gave her medicines. As she felt better, she asked the doctor, “How did you know that I was dying of sickness?” He replied, “Your little son brought me here.” Puzzled she said, “But doctor, my son died a month ago. Unable to bear the loss I’m sinking.” Pointing to a little dress hanging on the wall, he said, “It was your little son who brought me to you. He was wearing that dress.” The woman quickly realised that it was God who had taken the form of her little son and brought the doctor to treat her.

Yes, God is Wonderful; He performs mysterious things in wonderful ways.

The CounselorGod says that He will put His eyes upon you

and guide you (Psalm 32:8). That is the nature of the Almighty God. He is a God who leads us. Many times, we go through suffering when we don’t get the right counsel. The Bible says, “Pleasant words are like a honeycomb” (Proverbs 16:24). There are times when we do not get the right counsel in this competitive world. We are unable to trust any man. But God says, “I am the Counselor. I will lead you by My counsel.”

The great Counselor came down to earth on Christmas day. Even today, He is alive and wants to give us His counsel and make us prosperous. He will stand by you. He will give you wisdom as how to prosper in your business, run your family and also run your life. Yes, Jesus is an indescribable gift. Men may fail but this indescribable gift will never fail.

The Mighty GodGod is mighty that He controls the whole

universe by just one word.“who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power,...” (Hebrews 1:3)

There was a man of God who would bear the burdens of other people but the people did not understand Him. He would be heartbroken and pour out his heart to the Almighty God. One day God showed him a vision in which he saw himself being taken to heaven and standing near the throne of the Lord Jesus Christ. The whole universe was working before the throne of Jesus. He saw the sun; the planets and the moon were revolving around the sun. The Lord Jesus was controlling it by His power. He watched it in awe. The Lord looked at him and said, “My son, if I can control the whole universe, will I not control your life too? I am a mighty God. Do not be afraid! I will run your life. Just commit everything into My hands. I will do everything for you.”“For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts.” (Isaiah 55:9)

Yes, the ways, plans of God are far higher than your plans for yourself. The mighty God came down to earth for us to show us His mighty power. How are we going to receive Him?

It was customary for a particular family to gather around the Christmas tree on Christmas eve. Gifts would be piled around the Christmas tree and each one would receive a gift. That Christmas, the little girl of the family eagerly ran to the tree, took the gifts, and gave them to each member of the family as addressed to them. After giving the gifts to every one, she was looking out for more gifts with a concern on her face. Her mother said, “Honey, you have given gifts to everybody. For whom are you looking for more gifts?” The little girl said, “Mummy, we all have got Christmas gifts but we have forgotten to give


a gift to baby Jesus. Where is the gift for Jesus?”Yes, we all receive gifts for Christmas; we

share gifts with our dear ones. But we also must remember that we must give a gift to the coming King, Christ Jesus. What does this Christmas baby expect from us?

Our Heart Jesus says, “I am standing at the door of your

heart and knocking. Will you invite me in? I want your love My son/daughter. I want to live in your heart. I want to be your Wonderful Savior, Wonderful Counselor and Mighty God. I want

to lead you in a wonderful way. I want to be an indescribable gift to you. I can give you all the blessings in your life. Just open your heart to Me; give your life to Me.” Shall we invite Him? This indescribable gift did not just come down for us but also gave His life for us. Yes, He loved us so much that He gave His life for us on the cross washing away all our sins removing our sickness, curses from our lives making a way for us. In this Christmas season, may this indescribable gift fill your heart and your home with love. Thanks be to God for this unspeakable, indescribable gift.



Nothing is impossible …I run a small business in Brisbane Australia. Last year during the audit time there was some mismatch in thedocumentation and the issue was filed in the Court. Miraculous move of God Almighty…I’m a Software Engineer and also a Pastor/Evangelist. I attended the Jesus Calls Power Ministry in 2008and then served as an Ambassador and a Healing Minister at the Jesus Calls Prayer Tower in New Delhi,India. In 2013, I moved to Houston, TX. After a few months in Houston, I lost my job. In November2013, I attended the Thanksgiving service at the Jesus Calls Prayer Tower in Dallas, TX. Dr.PaulDhinakaran spoke a word to me, “As you served in Delhi Prayer Tower, you will also serve in the DallasPrayer Tower”. I just couldn’t imagine that happening any time soon looking at my current situation whenhe prophesized that. I struggled with no job and went through a lot of financial and other troubles, but Icontinued to preach the gospel on the streets and in other places.I had many interviews but none were productive. In the beginning of October, 2014 I was asked to cometo Dallas for a face to face interview. I express my loving Christmas greetings to you, my dear brothers and sisters. Christmas is a day which gives joy and delight to all of us.

As said in the Gospel of Luke, when the shepherds were keeping watch over their flocks in the night, the Angel of God appeared to them, and announced the birth of the Messiah. Immediately the shepherds hastened to see Mary, Joseph and the Babe lying in the manger. Today, let us meditate on the blessings that we receive through the birth of Christ.

Joy to all people

Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people” (Luke 2:10).

What a joy when a baby is born in a family!

Isn’t it a great joy to all the people, irrespective

of caste, creed and religion that a Savior is

born to save the world? We, as a family and as

individuals, remember this event in our heart and

celebrate it as Christmas. Yes, experiencing the

fact, “My Savior is born for me” and accepting

it in the heart and rejoicing over it, is the good

news of salvation or Christ’s birth.

Everlasting Life

“For God so loved the world that He gave His

only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him

should not perish but have everlasting life.”

(John 3:16)

God sent His only begotten Son to this world as a Man in order that we should believe in Him and have everlasting life. It is described of Him in the Bible that ‘He is the express image of His Person,’ and the “image of the invisible God” and so on (Hebrews 1:3; Colossians 1:15).

Fleshly desires, sinful situations, filthy deeds, deceiving works of the devil etc., are rampant in this worldly life. That’s why there is no peace and joy in the family but only confusion and troubles prevail. To change these dark situations, God sent His only begotten Son as the “Light of this world” in the form of man (John 1:9; II Corinthians 4:4,6).

Jesus went through much agony when He was beaten, bruised and nailed to the cross. Out of much love, He washes us, who were dead in trespasses with His sacred blood which He shed for us. He cleanses us, raises us and gives us eternal life (Colossians 2:13).

A person shared the following testimony in the Jesus Calls Prayer Festival

My wife left me as I was a drunkard, because of which I suffered without any peace and joy in my life. Though I earned a good income, I had no peace. At this critical juncture in my life, the only place where I had solace was the chapel in the Jesus Calls Prayer Tower. Every day I visited the chapel and poured out my agony in the Lord’s presence. Besides, as I applied the Jesus Calls ‘Blessed oil’ on me, my drinking habit gradually left. The Lord saved and delivered me from my sin. On hearing this, my wife came back. After 14 years, my wife has now conceived miraculously. Now God’s true peace and joy abides in my family.”

Dearly beloved, Christmas is not only decorating the house, wearing new clothes, preparing a variety of sweets, dancing and rejoicing. Perhaps these may give you joy to a certain extent. All these are outward things. But when Jesus Christ dwells in your heart as the Savior and as the Redeemer of sin, your heart and soul are getting adorned. True peace, joy and eternal life will fill you.

There was a man in the Bible days. His name was Saul. He was persecuting all those who lived a godly life. One day, the Lord lovingly went in search of him and asked him, “Saul, why are you persecuting Me?” Saul asked the Lord, “Lord, what do You want me to do?” The Lord sent His disciple Ananias to pray for him and by His power changed him into Paul (Acts 9:3-20). After this, Paul did the Lord’s ministry gloriously. “The churches had peace and were edified. And walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, they were multiplied” (Acts 9:31). God worked unusual miracles through him (Acts 19:11,12).

Even today, the Lord is waiting to give the joy of deliverance and salvation to you, if you are far away from Him, like Saul. Ask Jesus humbly, “Lord, You came to this world for my sake. Come into my heart”. Then surely He will come in to you and give you everlasting life. He will fill you with divine joy. The glory of Christmas is receiving salvation and eternal life.

Rags to riches

‘For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich.’ (II Corinthians 8:9)


According to this Scripture verse, it is God’s desire to elevate us and make us live prosperously. That is why He made the Savior Jesus Christ to be born in a manger, in a humble state, though He was the Son of God.

In order to bring blessing to those who live in the despair of poverty in this world, God, the Father sent His only begotten Son to this world. He poured into us His divine love. Believe this saying, “Only blessing and joy in everything.” You, who thus believe and have faith on the Lord shall enjoy receiving abundant blessings (John 11:40).

‘He who trusts in the Lord will be prospered” (Proverbs 28:25).

Dearly beloved, may the Lord make this Christmas a blessed season in every way and make your heart and home shine with the fullness of His goodness, and the joy of salvation.

Prayer

Our dear Father, You have so loved us and

sent us Your own Son as the Savior to this world.

You allowed Him to be beaten, broken and to

suffer on the cross for our sake. Through this,

You made us receive the joy of Your salvation in

our life. I thank You and praise You for giving

us the grace to be washed by the blood of Jesus

and to stand before You as the children of one

family, without any discrimination. Let Your

love flow into each one of us. Even now, cleanse

the hearts of those who are caught up in slavery

and wickedness. Make them holy and transform

them. Let this joy of salvation flow into them

also. Fill them with a life of peace and let your

light radiate through them. In the name of Jesus I

pray, Amen.

Three weeks of coma…

My son Kevin was suffering with a blood disorder from the age of 13. He has been on medication since then. Whenever he falls ill, it would be difficult for the doctors to diagnose what went wrong with him as the medication would thin his blood.

Now he is in his forties. In Feb 2014, he fell ill and this time he went into coma. Many tests were done and yet the doctors could not find out what was wrong with him. At this point I called Jesus Calls Prayer Tower for prayers and started attending the Healing & Anointing meetings.

We transferred him from the private hospital to a government hospital, where he was kept in ICU. He was diagnosed of meningitis and dengue. During the

three weeks of coma, he also developed pneumonia, kidney infection and gangrene on his thumb and index finger.

The doctors said that even if he comes out of the coma, he will have memory loss. After 3 weeks he came out of coma. As doctors said, he started to hallucinate because of the strong medication given to combat all that he had contracted. I had faith in the Lord and the Jesus Calls prayer intercessors continued to pray for Kevin. God answered our prayers. Kevin is completely healed of meningitis, dengue, pneumonia, kidney infection and even the gangrene on his fingers disappeared. Today Kevin is fine and does not suffer any memory loss. “….for God loves a cheerful giver” (2 Corinthians 9:7).

“….he who wins souls is wise” (Proverbs 11:30)According to these Bible verses, to fulfill the

So, I am involved in such efforts to care every person who is touched by this ministry till they get prepared for the Lord’s second coming. According to Romans 8:32, the Lord God who gave His only begotten Son, will grant all of our life’s needs as we have stepped into the last month of this year. “ The Lord will grant you plenty of goods… the Lord will open to you His good treasure, the heavens, to give the rain to your land in its season, and to bless all the work of your hand...” (Deut 28:11, 12).

According to this promise, He will open up heavens to grant you treasures and perfect goodness and make you glad! Pray for our family and especially for Sharon Dhinakaran’s education, ministry and health who is celebrating her birthday on 12th January and also for Sweety a bundle of joy to our family who will be celebrating her birthday on 5th February.

I praise and thank God Almighty for giving me this opportunity to testify His goodness in my

life. The turning point of my life was when God gave me a seat in Karunya to pursue my B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Staying away from my parents I had tough times but God was my stronghold and

fortress. Karunya made me grow both spiritually and academically. The prayers at Karunya from dawn to dusk molded me into the person who I am today. A well operational infrastructure is the forte of Karunya University. High Tech Laboratories made way for me to accomplish my goals. It equipped me with the necessary technical and soft skills to face the world outside. In my 7th semester God blessed me with placements in two MNCs such as M/s. Accenture and M/s. Infosys. As the Bible says in Zechariah 4:6 ‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ it is not by my doing but the Lord’s. I am grateful to God for His abundant grace in my life.

Karunya is a place of excellence not only academically but also in extra-curricular activities. The Karunya Evangeline Memorial Tournament (KEMT) is a South India inter-collegiate event for men and women organized by the Karunya University in memory of Late. Evangeline Dhinakaran.

Evangeline Dhinakaran, fondly known as ‘Angel’ was the only daughter of our revered Founder & Chancellor Emeritus Late. Dr.D.G.S. Dhinakaran. She had a great desire to raise young people of her age to the highest level of the society to glorify God. She left for her eternal abode on 21st May, 1986, a few months before Karunya University was established. Karunya University organizes the KEMT every year, bringing together hundreds of sportsmen and women from all over South India and celebrates the excellence of sportsmanship.

The 22nd KEMT was held from 7th Oct 2014 to 11th Oct 2014. Best colleges & University teams from all over the Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka battled out for honors during the five day tourney. For the first time in the history of Karunya, volley ball match was conducted for the blind people. Many participated enthusiastically. KEMT has always been a joyous event of the year and it is truly one of the prime tournaments in India.

Meeting Heart’s desire...In 2011, when the Dhinakarans came to South Africa I was one among the manywho stood in the line to be prayed for. I was weighed down with sorrow because atthat time both my children had been married for many years and had no children.When my turn came, Evangeline Paul Dhinakaran asked me the reason for mysadness. His grace washed out fear...

I am a young partner of Jesus Calls, working in a bank and living with my parents. For many years I was very scared to drive the car and had a great fear to even attempt to learn driving. Many times I wanted to give up but by the immense grace of God the Holy Spirit made me to learn driving in July 2014. He held my hands on the steering wheel and He alone enabled me to drive. Gift! It is something that we expect and receive lots from our friends, parents, relatives and Santa Claus especially

in this Christmas month. A gift is something which is given freely to someone at zero cost. Gift is something given out of love. When your earthly parents and friends are giving gifts to you on some occasion, don’t you think your Heavenly Father too will give gifts? Yes! Our Heavenly Father has already given us the special gift...JESUS, two thousand years ago.

Oh! perhaps you thought I was going to talk

about some electronic gadget as a special gift, or a costly attire as a special gift or that race car as a special gift…… Hmmm, I too would like them all. But, above all, when I think of JESUS, a great joy and peace floods my soul.

I can hear some of you saying, “How can JESUS be a SPECIAL GIFT to me? What can I do with HIM.” Our Heavenly Father, the embodiment of love, is full of love. He diligently considered what gift He would give to humankind, which He had created. He wanted them to have something special and unperishable.


Yes! His love caused Him to send His only son JESUS to this world. Dear friend, the Bible says, “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but will have eternal life” ( John 3:16). In Luke 2:8-14, it is recorded that the angels proclaimed joy and peace to the shepherds who were eagerly waiting for the coming of Messiah.

I will tell you why His birth is so special. The whole world is hunting for joy, peace, healing, prosperity, wisdom, justice, holiness. But, this world cannot afford the real joy and peace and Jesus turns to be their answer ( John 14:6).

Yes, the Bible says, “Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12). Many of them think Salvation means ‘Jesus came to save us from sins alone.’ No. This is why many of them see JESUS as only the ‘forgiver of sins.’ It is not so. ‘Sozo’ is the word for ‘Salvation’ in Greek language. ‘Sozo’ means forgiveness of sins, but also includes healing of the body, deliverance, divine protection and financial prosperity too. Jesus Christ died on the cross to purchase our redemption from sin and

to free us from sickness, depression, insecurity, curses and poverty.

My dear friend, is not your heart leaping for Jesus now! So, what is your problem? When you take Jesus into your heart and confess that He is Lord of your life, you get saved (Sozo) (Mark 16:16; Romans 10:9) . After that you can rest on your pillow. He is going to solve all that is frustrating your heart. Is this not exciting to hear? How sweet will your life be when you take Him in! Till today, if you have not received JESUS as your personal Savior, today is the day of salvation (Sozo). Take Him in. Just call out His name and invite Him into your life. He will come in and steer your life in a blessed direction. Salvation is a free gift of God (Ephesians 2:8).

Christmas is celebration of the birth of Jesus. Salvation is the celebration of relationship between Jesus and you. Celebrate this Christmas with Jesus in your heart! I pray that as you read this article, you will receive Him into your heart and enjoy all blessings that He has for you. And so I wish you a “Merry Sozosmas.”

Job GrantedFor a few years I had difficulty in finding a permanent job. Though I was considered as atrusted employee while working as a relief teacher, but always missed out opportunities for apermanent position. Every time I came close to finding a good job but it always went to

another person and I was worried. God gave us His only begotten Son in order that we should not fall into sin. The Bible says, “so that they should seek the

Lord, in the hope that they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us” (Acts 17:27).

Dearly beloved, Jesus was incarnate in this world as a baby in order that we may grope for

Him and find Him. Today, He is very near to us. We can call Him at any time. We can always love Him and receive His blessings.

As we read in Acts 17:28 which says, ‘in Him we live and move and have our being’ we live, move and have our being in Him through Jesus.

Let us meditate on the birth of the Lord Jesus and the purpose for which He was born.


Gave His own Son“He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?” (Romans 8:32)

He, who gave His own Son, is able to give us all the blessings we ask of Him. He is not the One, who expects anything from us. He wants His children to be prosperous in their spirit, soul and body (III John 2). Not only that, when He accepts us, He accepts us as His children. What a privilege!

Once, a man who longed to travel by ship at least once in his life saved money for his trip for many days. Finally he undertook the trip for ten days, and assuming that he would need to spend much money to have food on the ship, he packed some nuts, cheese, biscuits for his voyage. Every day he ate his nuts, cheese and biscuits. The ship was nearing the shore on the tenth day. The man was famished and was longing to have a good meal. A nice aroma wafted from the kitchen and he decided to have good food after so many days. He went to the Receptionist and upon showing his ticket he discovered that he had already paid for the ten days food. She said, “At least tonight enjoy a nice dinner” and she took him to the dining room where he ate to his heart’s content.

Dearly beloved, like this man, this is how we too have Jesus near us but lament, “Oh, I don’t have this; I don’t have that; I don’t have this blessing” and so on. How certain it is that God who gave us His own Son will give us all His blessings in glorious abundance! Let us hold on to Jesus firmly, even this Christmas.

Gives Living Water“If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.” - Jesus (John 7:37,38)

Are you thirsty? Do you say to yourself, I should accept “Jesus in my heart; I should be filled with the Holy Spirit; I need the gifts of the Holy Spirit.” Then Jesus will make living waters

to flow into your heart. When we go out for shopping, our children

Sam, Sharon and Sweety would ask us what they need. When they ask us, “Daddy, Mummy, I like this. I want this…” then we would do our best to buy them the things they requested. If we do this for our children, how much more will our Heavenly Father would give to you, who ask Him (John 14:14).

Grants Deliverance“If the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.” (John 8:36)

Yes, the Son of God was manifested on this earth in order to deliver us. When He sets us free, we shall be free indeed.

A magician had come for one of the meetings we conducted. That day I was sharing the message. He was possessed by the devil and was standing at the entrance of the venue, preventing people from entering into the ground. He was abusing people and throwing stones at them. What a wonder! After the message, when I was praying for everyone, and when everyone was praising, filled with the joy of the Holy Spirit, he too had come in. That time the Lord filled him with His Holy Spirit. Don’t we read, “Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.” (II Corinthians 3:17)

When the Holy Spirit came upon him, the evil spirit departed from him. He jumped up and came running to the stage and glorified the name of the Lord by sharing his testimony before the multitudes thus: “The Lord has given me a great joy. Today I am so happy. I am the child of the Lord. I am going to do ministry for Him.”

In these Christmas days, I encourage you to look up to Him, who is the provider of all blessings and be blessed. He will give you all that you ask for and fill you with joy.I express my warm Christmas Greetings to each one of you.

My children, John and Grace were enrolled in the Jesus Calls YoungPartners Plan even as toddlers. Grace was diagnosed withtranspositions of the great arteries when she was three weeks old.She was a very ill baby and this was followed by 18 months ofhospital stay. During this time, she went for several procedures andsurgeries. There were many moments she faced brink of death. Iwas told by the doctors that this child will not live beyond her firstbirthday.

I praise God that He restored her. She made medical history. God blessed her abundantly in every areaof her life and on the 15th of October 2014, she graduated from Malaysia’s premier university. She is 24years old now and is working in a local church.

Likewise my son John too excelled in his studies. He completed his studies in UK with first classhonors. He is currently working in the Oil and Gas industry.

Both my children have received numerous awards and John has even received both National andInternational awards. As a family, we are so thankful to God and the Jesus Calls ministries.

PRAYER INTERCESSOR AND AMBASSADOR TRAINING

Ambassadors and prayer intercessors training was held in Jesus Calls Singapore Prayer Tower from 17th to 19th of October 2014, as a follow up on the Prophetic conference, held in Singapore on July 2014. Many participated in this training and were nurtured in Spiritual empowerment. The Spirit of the Lord moved amazingly throughout the training sessions and many were anointed by the Holy Spirit. Comfort for the broken heartI was very much worried because of the sudden symptoms of a disease. I went and checkedwith a Gynecologist and he said that I had symptoms of womb cancer. This news brought megreat pain. Then I called the Jesus Calls Prayer Tower in Colombo and requested them topray for me. Later I went to the Prayer Tower and a servant of God prayed for me and said that he couldsee Jesus placing His hands upon me and healing me and asked me to go for further tests and to witness infront of everybody that Jesus has healed me. I left home with a broken heart but came back with so muchof peace. After three days I went to the hospital and as I entered the operation theatre I committed myselfentirely to Jesus. When I gained consciousness the doctor told me that there are no signs of cancer and thatmy womb is in perfect order. All glory to our great physician the Lord Jesus. Miracle Healer… My husband Ramakrishnan had a tumor in his

throat and suffered for a long time. We took many blood tests, CT scan and Biopsy but the Doctors could not say what it was. Moreover they said that it had to be removed immediately.
