Celebrating a Legacy of Love Jerry's journey began December 5, 1955. He worked at the University of Arkansas for 41 years in Facilities Management. He married the love of his life, Marcia, in 1976. They began their family two years later and had four children, Jenniffer Johnson, Jerry Wayne, Jillian Foster, and Jonathan. Over time they were given the titles of Papa and Nana by six grandchildren, Keegan, Jerron, Hannah, Kennedy, Hailey, and Kaden. Jerry will forever be adored by his grandkids. He loved serving others, making people laugh, spending time with family, and "knocking around" the farm. Jerry also enjoyed working with "the guys" in his shop at the University. He especially loved playing cards, hosting dinners, and playing pranks with them. He went home to meet Jesus and those who preceded him in death: his momma, two sons, and one grandson, on July 3, 2017.
