Custom portlet “BLTI Tool Consumer”• Available for JICS 4.2 or later• Free but limited support at present• Will be rolled into JICS in coming version

Portlet can be placed anywhere in JICS• Outcomes functionality requires e-Racer Coursework and Gradebook context

“Tool Consumer” (that’s us, JICS) – “Tool Producer” (that’s them, e.g. Lecture Tools, Learning Objects, Barnes and Noble Textbook, etc., etc.)

“Tool Proxy” versus “Tool Placement” Can add Tool Proxy once JICS-wide to make placements easy Examples: Lecture Tools, Learning Objects, Barnes and Noble Textbook
