Events based team, compared to some schools that have 24/7 response teams
We are responsible for any high risk BUSU sanctioned events
Mostly Isaac’s night, which is our on campus bar
We also do events like o-week, homecoming, concerts, etc.
We may be smaller than some schools but we definitely make a diff erence
HOW DO WE COMPARE?
Our Team
Health and Safety Coordinator- Responsible for the Brock First Aid Responders- Close relationship with Bar Manager, Campus Security and Events programmer Team – Volunteers - 20-25 volunteers each year
- Team leaders: Returning volunteers - Fairly tight nit team
- Work late nights, and have to be able to count on each other- Volunteers come from varying backgrounds
- Nursing - Concurrent Education- Medical sciences - Recreation and Leisure Studies

Vendor Fair is a two day event held during O-week

We advertise services, clubs and volunteer opportunities

Have clear guidelines, Send the schedule out early, be prepared for changes
EVENTS
O-WEEK, FROST WEEK, HOMECOMING
O-week:- A lot of preparation happens before hand, be
involved!- A very very long week, with very long hours
and days (TOTALLY WORTH IT)- You’ll need a lot of volunteers – figure out
how you’re going to do that!Homecoming and Frost week:- Will seem like a breeze, but be prepared!- Always have too many volunteers, instead of
not enough
